Have webcam, using MS live messenger, others using skype, can I "video" talk to those using other software? - webcam messenger software
I am new to the webcam. My mother has Skype, other friends with different software and I do not know if I can communicate with them or when I download them as Skype. Please help!

You must have the same proggie to use them. It is a pain in the ass, but the only way. My friend and I use Yahoo Messenger because it is private, we (sometimes naked) and we love it.
If you see someone on Skype, you need Skype. The same with Windows Live, Yahoo and AIM.
I had the same problem and I noticed that you use the same program.
