Would be for a beginner collector, I recommend Topps or Upper Deck. They are cheap and a decent amount of cards in one package. Since early 1990, when Topps has really started to mass produce your cards, Topps cards were not obtained as before.
But if you have a card that can be very useful in the future. Investing In my opinion the best card brand in football (which is less than $ 5.00 per pack costs) Playoff Prestige. This is a little more expensive than Topps, but the cards have more value, and the chances of a jersey or autograph card is better.
Babbby deck
and if you find cards largest stadium of the club, and pack and new cards join the upper deck thats always a safe bet
Upper Deck makes the best cards on glossy

Football cards are not worth as much as baseball, now or never. No production, now it will still take years - if ever - for football cards have great value. Topps is a traditional brand to use the useful, would at the same time focusing on a single brand. Topps is an excellent choice.
Old School Girl Love Football only 16! Nice! Only a rookie card from Topps and Upper Deck have and must be valid if the newcomer is a star player in the NFL. This is especially true for college players who are not quiet heavily promoted in the NFL, but a star in the early years (like Tom Brady to use)
Oi Topps Topps Upper Deck think is best, although
I am a serious football card Topps and Upper Deck Collect is good, but I Donruss Zenith. They have very good cards
Upper Deck
