I wonder whether lupus can be transmitted from one person to another, and if so, how can it be transferred?

Lupus is not contagious. The tendency may be inherited, especially from mother to daughter, but. If a close relative has lupus, are more likely to develop disease.

It could be that exposure to some type of viral infection is a factor, n the development of a person to lupus may be caused, but there is no specific mechanism was identified to be viral, and lupus is not contagious.
